I only discovered this today, but a track from my score for GIANT was recently played on BBC Radio 3’s Sound of Cinema.
“Hill Walk”, from the GIANT original motion picture soundtrack, featured on the programme presented by Edith Bowman.
Hill Walk is one of my favourite tracks from the GIANT score.
I composed the original score for GIANT and also worked as the film's Music Supervisor, so it's particularly rewarding to hear one of the pieces from the score being played on BBC Radio, and on this show in paticular.
GIANT tells the story of Prince Naseem Hamed and Brendan Ingle, following their journey from Sheffield to the world stage. The film stars Amir El-Masry as Prince Naseem Hamed and Pierce Brosnan as Brendan Ingle.
